Architectural Spaces

Pompidou Centre is a building in Paris where pips and things that wouldn't normally be seen in a building have been exposed, by being placed on the outside.

The center's architects, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers and Gianfranco Franchini designed the building on the lines of an "evolving spatial diagram".

Renzo Piano:

Richard Rogers:

He is best known for his work on the Pompidou Centre, the Lloyd's building, the Millennium Dome and the European Court of Human Rights building. He has also won the RIBA Gold Medal, the Thomas Jefferson Medal, the RIBAStirling Prize, the Minerva Medal and Pritzker Prize.
